I have not shot many Christian weddings. But the few that I have shot have been so close to my heart from a photographer’s point of view. The whole beauty of a church, a bride in a gown, the groom in a dapper suit, the evening light-just adds so much charm, so different from the late night Hindu weddings that form the majority of my portfolio.
This wedding was shot at Cathedral Church of the Redemption, Delhi. This beautiful church looks amazing from inside with the high arches & the main dome. The texture on the ancient walls made the light seem so magical. Overall, this church made for a beautiful destination for wedding in Delhi. Churches have a lot of restrictions though; a photographer cannot just go anywhere he/she feels to get the best light/angles. This was the biggest limitation I faced, but then everything has its limitations.
Ann & Thomas belong to Kerala. Do I need to mention how lovely the food was? 🙂 How my palette longs for the flavour of the Appams & stew!
